New Read . . .

Finished reading "The Courage Tree" a few days ago.  Turned out to be a really good read with a tad of romance, adventure and mystery.  It's a happy ending which always pleases me.

Yesterday I went searching my library for a new ebook to read.  Ours is a small town and therefore we have a small town library but the selection of ebooks is really impressive.  I chose "The Language of Flowers" by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.

A little bit about the book.  After a childhood spent in the foster-care system, Victoria Jones is unable to get close to anybody and her only connection to the world is through flowers and their meanings. Now eighteen and emancipated from the system with nowhere to go, Victoria realizes she has a gift for helping others through the flowers she chooses for them. But an unexpected encounter with a mysterious stranger has her questioning what’s been missing in her life. And when she’s forced to confront a painful secret from her past, she must decide whether it’s worth risking everything for a second chance at happiness. Source: Amazon.com

  1. Hi Marge!

I live in a small town too, with a small town library! They try to make everyone happy, and I love that they are so helpful.

It's a good time to read here in Idaho. It's too cold to go outside, so reading is a good way to pass the time! These books sound like good ones, I will have to keep them in mind!

    Hugs,
    Barb
