Pay It Forward . . .

So this is an unusual type of flash mob, and here's how it works:

At 4 p.m Eastern time on Saturday, October 11 stop whatever you're doing and pay it forward. Maybe buy someone a coffee...or gas..or groceries..big or small, let's have an event where all over the world, we are paying it forward at the same time. However, if you are NOT able to make it in that time frame, any time on October 11 will be great. This is going viral, around the world...

If you find that you are receiving errors when inviting others, try a few hours later please...spam blockers periodically block invites when thousands are going out for same event. Or, simply copy and paste the event link to your facebook page. Thanks!!!!

For those who accept the invite: please click join...then
Invite others, as many as you want...
Look for the command and we all pay it forward at same time...

Post your results after on Facebook.. Post any comments here on this group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/644430895671499/

Also quick reminder: Remember to send invite only to those you would believe would have a desire to attend. Thanks :)

Let's get this party going..Let's rock the world paying it forward.

Busy . . . busy . . . busy . . .

I'm back from vacation thinking I would be having a quiet week ahead but it turns out that today (Monday) is my QUIET day because this is what the rest of the week looks like.

Tuesday:  I go the Wound Clinic @ 1:45 p.m. to see what they can do about this leg of mine & play cards @ 6: 30 p.m.

Wednesday:  Dahli goes to the Vet @ for her Heartworm test and annual vaccinations & @ 6:30 I'll  call CardBingo

Thursday: Take Ginnie to Highlands Hospital @ 7:00 a.m. for her heart cath. & play cards at 6:30.

Friday:  Go to Florida Hospital for a venous flow test which they tell me takes 2 hours. Oh goodie!  Unless I'm too worn out I'll play cards @ 6:30 p.m.

So glad to be home.  Does your week look as fun as mine?

Tuesday

You Are a Golden Apple
You are humane and compassionate. You are merciful and kind whenever you can be.  You don't get too caught up in how you think things should be. You know there's not much you can control.

You are principled and conscientious. You try to behave as virtuously as possible. You are easy on everyone you meet, including yourself. You can't stand harshness of any sort.

Happiness . . .

Pope Francis Shares Top 10 Secrets To Happiness
1. Let everyone be themselves. “The Romans have a saying, which can be taken as a point of reference,” Pope Francis said. “They say: Campa e lascia campĂ  (Live and let live). That’s the first step to peace and happiness.”

2. Give yourself tirelessly to others. “If one gets tired, one runs the risk of being egoistic, and stagnant water is the first to be corrupted.”

3. Walk softly.  The ability to move with kindness and humility, calmness of life."

4. Be available to your kids and family. "Consumerism has led to the anxiety of losing, which has pushed people to spend less time at home and more time pursuing wealth."

5. Spend Sundays (or a day of rest) with family. This connects back to the fourth point -- make the intention to set time aside for loved ones, despite the pressures of work.

6. Work toward empowering young people. The pope discussed the need to find creative ways to help young people secure employment so that they may feel the “dignity of bringing home the bacon.”

7. Care for the environment. For this Pope Francis echoed his earlier remarks that we must protect God's "special gift" of Creation.

8. Move on. Pope Francis encouraged finding ways to more quickly move forward after negative experiences. Forgiveness is key for this, as is having the willingness to let the next moment be better than the last.

9. Respect others' opinions. This ties back to the first point. We won't agree with everyone's beliefs or lifestyles, but that does not inherently make them any less valid.

10. Actively strive for peace.“War destroys. And we must cry out for peace. Peace sometimes gives the idea of stillness, but t is never stillness. It is always an active peace. I think that everyone must be committed in the matter of peace, to do everything that they can, what I can do from here. Peace is the language we must speak."
Can you get behind a Pope Francis-style happiness?
