Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

May  your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey be plump,
May your  potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be  delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your  Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your  thighs!

I'm back! . . .

I haven't posted or visited since our blog hop day but I have been busy . . . just not here.  I purchased my domain name again ( and found me a host and have been playing at getting my old website back online.

It all started because Halloween was coming and I remembered the Haunted House that Darylynn had us decorate and send to her.  I thought it would be fun to do it again.  I tried putting it on Blogspot but no deal so if I wanted the Haunted House, I would have to get a website back.

Going thru the Halloween stuff as well as the rest of the site was a regular trip down "Memory Lane".  It was a slow painful start but thanks to Susan, I survived, didn't give up even when I wanted to, and have my old website (that's new again) to show for it.

Here's what I posted on the blog at this week.

My goal for today is to post on my blog at I have neglected my page there all week long and since I don't want to risk my friends forgetting about me, I'm going to post an entry and get some visiting done today.

Saturday, October 25th, 2014
Good morning! Made a little more progress on my site! I added a tagboard and my Haunted Halloween House but . . . the house doesn't seem to be working correctly. Have not been able to figure out the "why" yet! It's so cute I hope to solve the mystery before I run out of time since Halloween is almost here. Happy day, dear friends!

October 23, 2014 Welcome to my OLD blog that's NEW again!

Thanks to Susan for creating this lovely web page for me.

Here's how it all happened! I have this darling Halloween Haunted House that can be decorated and shared. I tried putting it on my blogspot page but that didn't work so I decided to try bringing back my old website. I purchased my old domain name and payed for hosting service and realized I was going to need help because I could not remember what to do. Oh dear!

So on Oct 14th, I posted a "help" appeal at the Chatterbugs Group site & Susan stepped up to help me for which I will always be grateful.

November Blog Hop

November Blog Hop theme is: Being Thankful.
“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

11 Most Important Reasons I Am Thankful

1. My family and friends. I am grateful that I can talk and laugh with them, hug them, support and love them, share my life with them.

2. My online community. I am grateful for my online friends who have given me  friendship and allow me to share in their life.

3. My health. I am profoundly grateful that I am physically healthy, that I have energy, that I can function at a high level for my age.

4. My home. I am so fortunate to have a comfortable, safe home with great neighbors, in a community that I love.

5. My bed. Every night I climb into a comfortable, clean bed.

6. Sleep. I am so grateful that I sleep well and wake up well rested.

7. My country. I am profoundly grateful to have been born in the United States, to enjoy the freedoms, opportunities, and blessings this country offers, in spite of its problems and tragedies.

8. Modern conveniences. I am grateful for the conveniences that make my life easier — electricity, appliances, my car.

9. Technology. My computer, iPhone, and Kindle have provided endless sources of learning, enjoyment, and opportunity for me.

10. My puppy and other animals. My dear, sweet puppy named Dahli provides an endless source of love, pleasure, and entertainment. I am grateful for all animals and the unconditional love they offer us.

11. Life. I am deeply grateful to be alive at this moment, to be typing these words, looking out the window at the trees, the pond, the sunlight and shadows. I am grateful that we can connect to each other through our words and offer hope to one another for peace and kindness in the future.
